NEMSIN was launched as a way to share beneficial educational and
career information between medical students, residents and
physicians around the country. The continued improvement
of NEMSIN depends on high-quality submitted information from
visitors to the site. Please submit all contributions to
nemsinetwork@gmail.com. We are currently
accepting submissions for the following website sections:
1. Resident
Interviews
This section is
obviously entirely dependent on outside submissions. If
you don't see your school or institution on our current list,
please encourage a resident from your local program to submit
answers to our questions (see link below). If your local
program is already represented, please spread the word anyway as
we do accept and publish all resident responses we receive.
2. Key Articles
If you think we missed an important
topic in our listing or simply have a review article you think shouldn't be
missed, please submit it.
Due to copyright issues, only the
references can be published at this time for most articles.
3. Case Presentations
Case presentations for this section
should be derived from actual cases that students participated
in on their emergency medicine or critical care rotations.
These submissions should primarily be in Powerpoint format but
great cases in other formats will also be considered. Due
to copyright restrictions, please remove all pictures, diagrams,
or tables that you do not have rights to from your presentation
before submission. Presentations using Powerpoint should
be limited to 20 slides or less.
We are currently working
on forming a national student editorial board consisting of
students from around the country. If you would be
interested in applying to participate on the editorial board,
